Privacy Policy
Effective date: 22 August 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Prestige Pages ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use our website or purchase our services. We are a controller for the personal data we collect for our own purposes and may act as a processor when handling data on behalf of clients.
This policy is informational and not legal advice.
1. Who we are
Controller: Prestige Pages • Email: [email protected]
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local authority. In The Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
2. What data we collect
- Contact data (name, email, company, phone) when you submit forms or book calls.
- Usage data (pages viewed, device info, approximate location) via analytics and cookies.
- Transaction data (invoices, payment status). Card details are handled by payment processors and not stored by us.
- Content you provide for projects (copy, images, brand assets) when you are a client.
3. Why we use your data (legal bases)
- Contract: to provide quotes, deliver services, and communicate about your project.
- Consent: for optional marketing, newsletters, and cookies where required.
- Legitimate interests: to improve the Site, prevent abuse, and measure basic performance.
- Legal obligations: to keep tax and invoice records.
4. Cookies & analytics
We may use GA4 and Tag Manager, along with a consent banner. You can manage preferences via the banner or your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.
5. Sharing your data
We share data with vendors that help us run the Site and Services. Examples include hosting providers, analytics (e.g., GA4), email tools (e.g., Mailchimp/ConvertKit), scheduling (e.g., Calendly), payments (e.g., Stripe), and advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta). Some vendors act as processors and some as independent controllers. They each have their own terms and privacy policies.
6. International transfers
If personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision where available.
7. Retention
- Project files: typically retained for up to 24 months after completion unless you request earlier deletion.
- Invoice and tax records: retained for the period required by law (e.g., 7 years in many jurisdictions).
- Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Analytics data: retained per vendor settings.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. We may request proof of identity where permitted by law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
10. Children
Our Site and Services are not directed to children under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply from publication on this page with the updated date.
